Description
- The Quantum is a Battery Powered Tracker with wire-free installation.
- Thatcham Category S7 Approved.
- The Quantum can have a 3-year battery life* before the batteries need replacing.
- Owners get location updates at the beginning of the trip, 5 minutes after the trip has started and at the end of the trip.
- Arm/Disarm feature- The customer must arm vehicle when not in use, and disarm when in use. If the vehicle moves location whilst in armed state, the customer will receive a phone call by our monitoring team to check the vehicle is safe.
- IP68 rated.
- Tracked using our state of the art Datatool app and website.
Technical Information
The unit will update with 30 second intervals whilst moving in recovery mode. When movement has stopped it will heartbeat every 10 minutes whilst stationary. It will then update every 30 seconds when it begins to move again.
Battery Alerts – The customer will receive battery alerts via email if the batteries are critical and need replacing. This is a system generated email.
Tracker activates on first movement, after magnet unnderneath is removed.
Installtion and commissioning must be performed by a Datatool Approved Installer.
Batteries can be replcaed using the instructions listed in the Quantum3 User Guide.

Out-of-Stock & Custom Orders
Out-of-Stock Items:
- We will contact you with estimated timescales from ORO2U
- If a product is out of stock, we cannot order any more in for a long time
- Important: If the product is out of stock, your order will be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase
Custom Orders (Products Not Listed):
- Require a custom quote from ORO2U for import
- Custom order process can take 1-3 months depending on the specific item and current shipping conditions
